There are no entry level requirements for this course, although some previous experience of Pilates and fitness is preferred.
What does the qualification cover?
During the qualification learners will cover the following:
• Anatomy and physiology.
• Principles of exercise, fitness and health.
• Health and safety.
• How to support clients.
• Principles of Pilates Matwork.
• How to programme Pilates Matwork classes.
• How to instruct Pilates Matwork classes
The qualification is 7 full days , spilt over two weeks. There are 4 days intensive training (Thursday to Sunday), followed by 3 further days (Thursday to Saturday).
